In the world’s most complex places, our programs are built with the experts, the community.

Together, we design a range of programs ready to pivot to things like natural disaster, conflict and Covid-19. And, we also plan for the good stuff, like education, climate resistant crops, clean water sources, mental health support and medical centres.

No matter the context, your gift is helping children SurviveRecover, and Build a Future.

Spotlight Projects

We currently have four Childhood Rescue projects in Honduras, DRC, Philippines & Afghanistan.

Now, that number may seem a little underwhelming but don’t be fooled. Developing community empowered programs in dangerous places requires a slow and steady approach, building for meaningful long term impact.

Herat, Afghanistan

Afghanistan

In August 2021, the world watched, stunned at the swift power takeover by the now defacto authorities. Everything changed.

Previously, our programs were designed to help communities build a future through education, peace-building and child rights. Now the most pressing needs Afghan children face are hunger and the ongoing effects of climate disaster & the economic impact of Covid-19.

To ensure Afghan children & communities can literally survive you're helping to fund...

  • Medical staff and mobile health clinics
  • Therapeutic foods for severely malnourished children
  • Food distributions and food & cash vouchers
  • Re-instating of WASH programs delivering clean water, toilets and sanitation in IDP camps
24.4 million Afghans

need humanitarian aid... that's HALF the population!
