Every ten seconds someone gets access to clean water thanks to World Vision’s work. Our commitment is to help everyone, everywhere we work get clean water and sanitation by 2030.
Diseases like COVID-19 can devastate vulnerable communities without clean water or sewage systems. That’s why we at World Vision are at work in Juba, South Sudan:
- Building 17 new latrines and water stations, and getting clean water to 125,000 new people
- Leading classes on hygiene to teach the best ways to stop the virus, and getting the word out with banners and pamphlets across the city
- Working with local mothers to put handwashing stations in their own homes
