Who knew a truck full of 40 wheelbarrows could make such a huge difference!

One of the biggest challenges facing communities in Puntland, Somalia is food and income.

Take a quick 2min Somalian roadtrip with us and see how your gift is helping :)

Seat belts please, it's going to get bumpy!

Our Childhood Rescue programme has been running in Puntland, Somalia for almost a year!

The team have trekked across some of the bumpiest and driest roads to ensure families and children can survive and recover but also, work towards building a future, with sustainable food sources!

The region has been greatly impacted by the effects of climate. Many rural farming communities have found themselves forced to migrate to find work to ensure they can feed their children.

They leave behind their homes, farming land and dying cattle. Yet they are skilled farmers who know how to do a lot with a little and your gift is helping with that.

Stick with us as we follow the progress of this amazing team and these farmers in the coming months :)

Food & Nutrition

Disasters, whether natural or manmade, often lead to food insecurity. Poor nutrition is an underlying cause of nearly 2.4 million childhood deaths each year.

People who had to flee their homes and their livelihoods are especially vulnerable and in need of food assistance. Nearly 400,000 Syrians, living as refugees in the Bekaa valley in Lebanon, have been enrolled in World Vision food programmes as they are hit hardest by Lebanon’s current economic crisis. We provide e-vouchers and cash options that allow families to shop for basic medication and home supplies.

  • Every 60 seconds a hungry child is fed through World Vision’s interventions.
  • 89% of severely malnourished children treated by World Vision make a full recovery
